"Dirty Water" Mixed Media Painting on Canvas 36x36"

Part of my abstract art series, this piece is hand painted on deep-edge canvas. It's got a great contemporary feel, with large, thick brush strokes and expressive chalk marks. This painting has many acrylic layers that build up the colour and form, including interesting 3d brush strokes that add interest when the light hits it from the side. It has been finished off with moments of chalk pastel.
